Sandstone Psyche

 

Rusty is one of the youth show mounts. He came to us with an extensive show background in halter, hunter pleasure and western pleasure. He is being used for some lessons and will be one of the show horses in the coming year. He will be shown next year in leadline and will be shown by various ages of people looking to start showing. Rusty and Emma received a championship in JTR 13 and under Western Pleasure and Hunter Equitation. They received a reserve championship in Hunter Pleasure at Regionals.

 

 

 

 

Lime Twist

 

 

 

This young thoroughbred flunked out of the track training. Twister is way too laid back to run on the track in fact you need to work to keep him moving.Twister has become the favorite for beginners in the lesson program. He has been to a couple of open shows and enjoys going around the ring. We really like this youngster. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

JP Ebony Elegance

  JP is a very sweet mare. She is another one that knows the cruelty that man does to animals without good reason. She holds a special place in Sheri's heart and will have a forever home.  JP has graced our barn with her sweet nature helping nervous people on the ground and teaching basic ground work.  The kids enjoy the hours they spend grooming her.  JP will be bred for a 2013 baby. We can't wait to see what JP produces.

 

 

 

 

 

Stars of Justice

 

 

 

Sky is a purebred Arab that we have recently added to our program.  She schooled wonderfully at the last open show making us wonder at her future as a walk-trot show mount.  She has been a wonderful horse to work with and train.  She does lessons for advanced beginners and up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Diamond Socks

 

 

 

Socks is a very fun mare to work with.  She also is Sky's full sister.  She has only a handful of rides but I am surprised at her consistency and ethic.  She will start out the season as a hunter and maybe finish it as a western horse.  She has a great mind and loves to be spoiled.  She will make a great youth mount.

 

 

 

Royale Supreme

 

 

 

Wildman is his affectionate and loving name.  He does not realize he isn't three anymore and loves his life.  He is a retired park horse who never learned to walk.  It can occassionally be a wild ride on him but he loves to work.  He is a very people loving horse who wants to hang out with people.  This old man has a very small handful of people that ride him and he will be with us for the rest of his years and I hope he graces my barn for many.

 

 

 

 

 PKH Spotts Dezign

 

 

   Dezign is a coming three year old hunter prospect.  He has been growing up and is just starting to wear tack.  He has a playful personality and comes when called.  He will be a lot of fun to start.  He will hopefully start showing sometime in 2012.  This horse will be a lot of fun in the ring.

 

 

 

 

 

 

PKH Blue Moon

 

 

  Blue is a 3 year old western pleasure prospect.  His relaxed gaits are coming along beautifully in long-lines.  His first rides should happen sometime in December.  Blue will be a great youth mount with his friendly demeanor and willingness to please.  We look forward to him showing next spring under saddle.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kairos 

 

  Kairos is a talented hunter mare.  Her incredible work ethic and intelligence give many enjoyable rides.  We are very excited for the 2012 show season with Megan Wilson leasing and showing her.  They plan on multiple class A shows and one Regionals.  This pair is an exciting combination.  Good luck in the ring.

Flirt is a horse very near and dear to all of us at SK Arabians. At age 8 she has taught many students to ride and has taken care of a few of them in the show ring for the first times. She has a huge heart and a love to please that can't be beaten. She is an amazing show horse.  Flirt and her walk-trotter in 2010 brought home two Top Fives.  Megan and Flirt brought  home a championship in JTR pleasure and a reserve championship in Equitation at Regionals.  Congratulations to the Karas family for buying such a wonderful horse.

  

 

 

 

 

Sassy

 

 

 

Sassy is an auction find.  She is a very nice pony that is going to help the little kids get use to riding.  She is perfect size for the little one. She now belongs to Celia and is doing great.  She schooled at her first show and I am anxious for Celia and Sassy to make their debut.

 

 

 

 

JF Triten V Ten

 

Farley is another Half-Arabian western pleasure horse owned by Pat Renz.  He's very lazy but has the potential to go far with his even smooth gaits and gentle personality.   He is a great teacher and is wonderful to bring to shows.

Popeye is a coming 2 year old belonging to the Bussen family. He is a western

pleasure prospect and will be shown by Jamie for the 2012 show season.
