Currently SK Arabians has a limited number of training openings that welcomes all breeds of horses. I specialize in Western, Hunter, and for the more experienced horse Sidesaddle. Show, trail, 4-H, and young horses are welcome.

The work schedule is five to six days a week. Training is something I take very seriously. I take the time needed to learn each horse and his or her working style so that it is as easy as possible for your horse to learn and excel at its future job. I will work with a horse for 30, 60 or 90 days, or longer if wanted. 

I will train the young horses to lunge, saddle and ride along with do tune ups on older horses that just need the hours.  I train at the horses speed, never pushing them past their limit.  The first 30-90 days are very critical in a horse’s future.  If they are not started right during this time, it does not give a solid base to go off of for the future.  I strive to start the day off good and always finish the day off good.

I believe in communication between the owner and trainer and highly encourage owner interaction. Questions are encouraged at all times during the training process. Along with the training, I provide one lesson a week for the horse owner for the owner to be able to work with the horse and know the training that has been done to prepare for going home. 

Winter board and training specials are available October through March.  A horse must be in training for a minimum of 60 days to qualify for special pricing.  Outdoor board and training regularly priced at $475 special pricing is $430. Stall board and training regularly starting at $575, special price right now is $530.  Training prices include all feed that will need to be provided during this time.  If you horse needs any type of supplements, those will need to be provided by the owner.  The horses owner can also opt in to the routine farrier program.
